What is Family Practice?
Family Practice is a medical speciality. The American Board of Family Practice was instrumental in establishing the speciality of F.P. in 1969. Family physicians provide care for all members of the family and are trained to treat the majority of medical problems for their patients of all ages. Training includes internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics.

Kathleen Rheaume M.D.
Dr. Rheaume is a board certified doctor of Family Practice. She is a graduate of Wayne State Medical School and the Bon Secours Hospital Family Practice Residence program. She was awarded the degree of Fellow by the American Board of Family Practice in 1997. The degree of Fellow recognizes physicians who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues and in their communities through service to Family Medicine.
Before starting Bayside Family Medicine, Dr. Rheaume worked for several years at Bon Secours Shores Family Physician, a group practice in Roseville.
Dr. Rheaume is someone who loves to take care of people and loves being a medical doctor. Her special interests include caring for complete families and womens health care .
